As most of you are aware, Vilonia experienced a flash flooding event yesterday, July 17, 2024. We are now calling for your assistance in helping us alleviate future damage and inconvenience resulting from similar events.
The city is gathering officials and professionals to create a plan to determine the most efficient and effective actions as well as a priority list of the most time critical issues.
To do so, we are requesting anyone affected by the flash flooding event on July 17, 2024, to email us at CityHall@cityofvilonia.org. Please include your address, contact information, any photos you may have, and a short explanation of your experience, and if your home had any water damage, please make sure to let us know that.
We ask you email us by Monday, August 5, 2024, as we will be collating this information for our City Departments, City Council, and City Engineer.
