Vilonia Trunk or Treat

October 30, 2023 at the Vilonia Baseball Complex

Local businesses and organizations are invited to participate by hosting a trunk (which may be an actual vehicle, a table, or a game) or by donating that deliciously delightful sugary staple - CANDY!

Vilonia City Hall will be handing out hot dogs, bottled water, popcorn, and cotton candy, as well as Halloween bags for kids to carry their hauls.

Raptor Rehab of Central Arkansas

About RRCA
My name is Rodney Paul. I am the Director of Raptor Rehab of Central Arkansas. I started Raptor Rehab of Central Arkansas in 2003. Our mission and goal has always stayed the same: to care for ill, injured or orphaned birds of prey and to be able to release them back into the wild.

RRCA holds a raptor rehabilitation and education license from the United States Fish and Wildlife Services. I work closely with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission recovering various birds of prey. Our facility has over 3000 square feet of flight pens that are built to very strict specifications.

Feeding and caring for all of them can be quite costly. Raptors require a very specialized diet often eating as much one-third of their body weight a day.

We are a non-profit organization and receive no federal or state funding to help care for our birds. We operate out of love for these creatures, many of which are injured, sick or have fallen victim to human intervention and otherwise would not survive without rehabilitation.

Tax-deductible donations are always accepted, greatly appreciated and 100% goes to care and food for the birds.
