The Vilonia Fire Department organized and conducted an emergency preparedness exercise this past May. They have received national recognition and their story has been published by FEMA.
The Vilonia Fire Department spoke at multiple conferences throughout the year on Preparedness Plans and have encouraged everyone to stay alert and always be prepared.
Their model of preparedness is being copied across the country and within the state of Arkansas.
