Museum of Veterans 3-Mile Never Forget 9-11 Run/Walk
Never Forget 911 Run/Walk starts at 8:46 at museum. The cost to run or walk is $20. There will be awards for runners and participation packs for both runners and walkers. Registration table set up by 7 a. m. May sign up online, mail or at the museum. (Run anticipated to take about 45 minutes). The event will conclude with a program co-sponsored by the Vilonia Fire Dept. holding a final call for the fireman who perished. The public is encouraged to attend the program. There is no charge for attending. It should be a really good tribute.
Build Day for Sleep In Heavenly Peace
On Saturday, September 10, 2022, Sleep in Heavenly Peace will be holding a Build Day to coincide with Bunks Across America (BAA2022). The event will begin at 8am and last until all beds are built. They expect to build roughly 20 beds. SHP will be set up in the parking lot of Harps Food Store here in Vilonia.
Anyone age 12 and over can volunteer to build beds. No experience is required! All volunteers will need to sign an indemnification form electronically.
