The Vilonia Community Catalyst Strategic Doing Workshop, 11/15/2023
The City of Vilonia has been working with the University of Central Arkansas Center for Community and Economic Development Community Catalyst Program (UCA CCED CCP, CCP for short) to help gather the community's desires and goals for Vilonia's future and growth.
In July, they met to create a community survey.
In August, the community responded, with 1,249 surveys being submitted!
In September, the survey responses were collated and reviewed.
In October, a public meeting was held to discuss the results and answer questions.
Now, in November, we are asking the community to join us at a Strategic Doing Workshop.
The purpose of the workshop to answer, "Why are we here and what are we doing?"
Strategic Doing is about taking action!
It's about sharing your ideas for the future of Vilonia
It's an opportunity to learn a new process that can be used over and over again to bring people together and put ideas into action
Participants will identify catalyst projects that will be implemented immediately
Attendees will form small teams to brainstorm ideas, share goals, and identify paths forward.

This is not a 'sit and watch' meeting. It is a workshop, where attendees will work to create the future of Vilonia. It will not be livestreamed, recorded, or shared. It is open to the public and we request anyone who is willing to roll up their sleeves and get involved in the process to attend!
