Starting Monday, May 2, 2022, a portion of South Mount Olive Road will be closed to allow for a bridge to be replaced. We expect this to take roughly one month, dependent upon the weather, and it will be closed for the duration.

There is a stormbox located between Vilonia Senior Citizens Center and Vilonia City Hall. It is the small white metal building attached by sidewalk to the Vilonia City Hall parking lot. Space is limited to the capacity of roughly 30 people. It is not limited to city employees. In March 2022, the City of Vilonia partnered with Vilonia Pathways Academy to place a pavilion at the Parkwood Meadows Memorial Park located at 26 Aspen Creek. On April 7, 2022, the pavilion was completed. Teachers overseeing the project were Toni Nolan and John Sweeney.
