Vilonia Police Department Receives Second Re-Accreditation for ALEAP

During the 55th Annual Arkansas Association of Chiefs of Police (AACP) Conference, held September 26 – 28, 2023, the Vilonia Police Department received their second reaccreditation for Tier 1 Advanced Arkansas Law Enforcement Accreditation Program (ALEAP) Accreditation, recognizing six consecutive years of having “successfully demonstrated a high level of excellence and professionalism in the field of law enforcement by meeting the standards set forth by the Arkansas Law Enforcement Accreditation Program (ALEAP).” Vilonia Police Department is one of only 17 Law Enforcement Agencies in Arkansas currently holding accreditation for Tier 1 Advanced ALEAP, and of those, it is the smallest.
